The plan was approved by the North Las Vegas Planning Commission last September and approved by the North Las Vegas City Council last month.ĭuring the November 16 hearing of the North Las Vegas City Council, Station Casinos representative Rebecca Miltenberger that the Losee project would be developed in phases. Losee Project Will Be Developed in PhasesĪccording to public records, Station Casinos is plotting to build a resort with 600 hotel rooms and more than 75,700 square feet of casino space, as well as restaurants, a movie theater, a bowling alley, banquet facilities, and other amenities. The proposed development would create more than 1,100 construction jobs and 840 full-time jobs at full build-out. Records also show that Station Casinos is planning to build a new casino resort in the area. The sale transaction, which had a price of $55 million, was recorded in County records last Monday. Station Casinos purchases 67 acres in North Las Vegas Station Casinos has acquired a 67-acre land at the northwest corner of Losee Road and the 215 Beltway in North Las Vegas. Station Casinos is also building a $750 million resort in Durango and is eyeing to open a Wildfire Casino in late 2023.
